Half-term was rather busy for Hurst Equestrian, with the three-day NSEA Championship taking place at Hickstead Showground.

Our Young Enterprise team have had huge success this term, participating in both the Sussex Company of the Year Contest and the South East YE Regional Finals.

Hurst students win Sussex Young Enterprise Company of the Year Contest

On Saturday 4 May, three Hurst pupils headed off early to the prestigious Royal Windsor Horse Show hosted in the private grounds at Windsor Castle.

Hurst pupils battle the wind to hike the Brecon Beacons for their Gold DofE training and practice expedition.

Hurst CCF gathered for the Officers, Cadet Warrant Officers and Sergeants Annual Mess Dinner for the 75th anniversary celebrations.

Hurst students headed to Coombelands Equestrian, for a National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) competition.

At the very end of last term, 40 Remove Geography students were also lucky enough to spend several days exploring the Bay of Naples.

As part of the Vth Form Service Day, the Vth CCF Platoon took part in a range day at ATR Pirbright.

Over the Christmas break, Hurst students visited Auschwitz-Birkenau, as well as exploring the city of Krakow in Poland.
