Head Of Netball (Maternity Cover)
Are you passionate about netball and shaping young athletes into champions?
We are looking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated Head of Netball, covering a period of Maternity, to lead and develop the Netball programme across both the Prep and Senior School.
The Head of Netball is a visible and active role within the College community, providing motivational leadership to the Netball programme and contributing to the vision for Hurst Sport.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven coaching experience from Prep to Senior School, Including working with elite players.
- England Netball level 2 coaching qualification or above.
- C award in umpiring
- Sport related degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to coach other sports is highly desirable.

Netball Performance Manager
We are seeking an exceptional Netball Performance Manager with a genuine passion for, and commitment to netball development.
The primary function of the jobholder will be to assist with the development
of Netball incorporating both the Prep and Senior School, as well as leading
and co-ordinating the delivery of a coaching plan for the girls’ programme
at all levels.
Hurst has a strong netball history and is a major sport for all pupils in the
Lent term. Experienced coaches run training sessions four to five times a
week plus a competitive fixture card.
Experience, Skills and Qualities.
- Proven coaching experience from Prep School to Senior School, including working with elite players.
- England netball Level 2 Coaching Qualification or above and C award in umpiring.
- Experience in dealing with the England Netball pathways.
- Ability to lead, motivate and empower a body of coaches.
- Strong organisational, administration and time management skills.
- Ability to coach other sports is highly desirable

Netball Coach
Are you passionate about netball and shaping young athletes into champions?
We’re seeking a dedicated Netball Coach to become part of our dynamic program across both Prep and Senior Schools. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified or experienced coach.
The successful candidate will have England netball Level 2 Coaching Qualification or be working towards achieving them. Also a C award in umpiring is highly desirable
We offer an extensive CPD programme, including fully funded opportunities for ambitious candidates to attain, and progress through nationally recognised qualifications for coaching and umpiring in a range of sports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute engaging coaching sessions for students from years 3 to13.
- Responsibility for a number of teams at both Prep and Senior School levels.
- Lead teams during matches on Saturdays and Wednesdays, ensuring fair play as an officiator.
- Stay abreast of advancements in PE and Games teaching methodologies.
- Contribute enthusiastically to our extra-curricular sports provision and fixture schedule.
- Ensure all students have access to a range of sporting opportunities within and beyond school grounds.
School Responsibilities:
- Proactively communicate any issues or concerns to the Director of Sports.
- Uphold discipline standards within the team.
- Maintain meticulous records of training and fixture participation rates.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow staff members, including teachers and support staff.
- Attend essential safeguarding and training sessions as required.
- Foster clear and respectful communication channels with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Willingness to undertake additional duties as assigned by College management.

Drivers
Working as part of our great transport team – you will be responsible for driving College minibuses primarily in the mornings and evenings to ensure that all pupils are collected and dropped off according to passenger schedules.
Working hours: Hours are Monday to Friday 6.00 am to 8.30 am and 5.45 pm – 8.00 pm, term time only- 34 weeks p.a.
Hourly rate: £14.00 (inclusive of holiday pay).
