Applications for our September 2022 Teach Hurst teacher training programme are now OPEN!
We are looking for enthusiastic and personable graduates with a good degree, 2:1 or better, in either Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Maths and welcome applications from recent graduates and also those looking for a career change.
We offer a high quality, fully funded, 4 year programme of teacher training, with free all year round accommodation and term time meals. Salary: £23,760 per annum.

Graduate Assistant, Drama - required for September 2022
Hurst’s recently built Bury Theatre offers outstanding facilities where pupils are inspired to explore their expressive and creative capabilities to the full.
We are looking for talented graduates who want to challenge themselves as teachers and directors and be willing to take part in the wider life the school. In return, we offer a supportive and welcoming community.
The post is a fixed term, term time only contract from 1st September 2022 through to 30th June 2023. The salary will be competitive and reflect the importance of the role as well as the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
Accommodation may be available but cannot be guaranteed. Lunches and refreshments are provided free during term time.

Graduate Sports Assistant - required for September 2022
We are looking to appoint a graduate sports assistant to support and assist the games programme and Physical Education departments in both the Prep and Senior School.
The post is a fixed term, term time only contract from 1st September 2022 through to 30th June 2023. The salary will be competitive and reflect the importance of the role as well as the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
Accommodation may be available but cannot be guaranteed. If the post-holder lives on campus, additional duties may be allocated, such as boarding duties. Lunches and refreshments are provided free during term time.

Graduate Assistant, Music - required for September 2022
Hurst offers exceptional facilities. The Music School, which was substantially extended in 2019, has space for academic Music teaching, learning and co-curricular rehearsal and performance. There is a fully equipped Music Technology Studio run by a specialist alongside a recital hall with a Bechstein model D piano and suite of 14 practice rooms. The Music School is attached to the Dance Studio and the New Bury Theatre, a 350-seat versatile performance space of professional specification

Outdoor Education Instructor - required for September 2022
The successful candidate will work closely with the the Director of Outdoor Education and Head of CCF to help deliver our extensive outdoor adventurous programme which includes DofE, CCF, climbing, hill and mountain walking, skiing, paddlesports, rowing and sailing, archery, shooting and mountain biking. You will need to be able to demonstrate you can work with enthusiasm and commitment as well as having relevant qualifications in some of the adventure club activities.
At Hurst, you will be part of a large and friendly community of professionals where you can look forward to a genuinely rewarding role, as well as the opportunity to gain additional coaching qualifications where appropriate. We offer a competitive salary scale, free meals during term time, a comprehensive health and wellbeing programme and career opportunities across not only the College but also the Hurst Education Trust. The position is term time only, plus 8 weeks, and 15 Saturdays. Accommodation may be available on site.
