Super Swimmers - Hurstpierpoint College

Super Swimmers

The new Schools Super Swimming League kicked off with 16 teams competing across four venues. Hurst hosted one of four galas, along with Seaford College, Warden Park, and Christs Hospital in attendance. The other hosts included Brighton College, Eastbourne College, and St Johns.

The Hurst poolside was busy and buzzing, and the racing was fast. In what was likely the biggest swimming event held at the College to date, Hurst pulled away on points towards the end of the gala, placing strongly across the board and finishing in 1st place after 34 different races. Hurst secured a grand total of 252 points, with Seaford College following in 2nd place with 201, and Warden Park in 3rd with 175.

Round 2 of the Super League will take place on the 19th October at Lancing College, with Charterhouse and Bedes also in attendance.

The swimmers all gave a great team performance, supported each other, and earned their victory. Stephen Murphy, Head of Senior School Swimming
