Shield House Ball - Hurstpierpoint College

Shield House Ball

The Shield Ball saw 116 pupils and 11 staff at Pangdean Barn. This had been a much-anticipated event which was long overdue as the last Shield Ball was held four years ago. All the girls brought guests along and enjoyed mocktails and dancing to a DJ as well as entertainment by a magician.

The girls also chose the menu which everyone thoroughly enjoyed, especially the brownies, homemade ice cream and caramel sauce. They also selected all the music tracks which were a hit judging by the numbers on the dance floor.

Pangdean Barn was a wonderful venue which created a magical atmosphere with fairy lights high up in the thatched roof.  The girls looked so elegant in their evening wear and the boys took it to another level with their black-tie outfits.

A few lovely comments were received after the event proving that the girls had a wonderful evening.

Just a quick note to say thank you so much to the Shield House Team for organising such a wonderful ball. It was clearly a success given the chatter in my car on the way home from the event: everything was mentioned including music, chocolate brownie, atmosphere and good company. Congratulations. I hope you all managed to enjoy the event too Hurst Parent
