Mini-Olympic events at Hurst

Twenty-two Lower Sixth students organised two Mini-Olympic sports events for Reception to Year 2 pupils, as part of their Level 3 Sports Leadership qualification.

The aim of the two Mini-Olympics events was for the youngest pupils to Learn and develop through Sport. They ran, jumped, threw and batted their way through a variety of individual and team games, earning pats on the back and some sparkly ‘great effort’ stickers.

On Tuesday afternoons, every Senior School student takes part in community service. Organising these two events is part of the community service afternoon for 22 members of the Lower Sixth who are studying for their Sports Leadership qualification.

Well done to all that made the two events happen so brilliantly and in true Hurst spirit.

That was really fun Lower Sixth Student
