Our pupils and staff embraced the Christmas spirit with a series of joyful events and activities that brought the whole community together.

The holiday season kicked off in style as pupils from Reception through to Year 4 took part in the St Catherine’s Hospice Reindeer Run on Monday 8 December 2025.

Ventus Charity Day was a resounding success, raising over £800 in support of the Sussex Snowdrop Trust. 

The spirit of competition was alive and well as pupils from all houses laced up their trainers for the annual Prep School House Cross Country event.  

Eliza’s cake sale raised an incredible £208 for The Donkey Sanctuary. With help from friends and the Hurst community, she turned a sweet idea into a big success.

Years 5 and 6 pupils took to the stage with Splash! The Musical, a vibrant and hilarious retelling of the Noah’s Ark story – told from the animals’ point of view.

Eight schools unite for the JPS Book Awards 2025, reading five books across the year to crown a winner.

Pupils from both the Junior Prep and Senior Prep Schools came together for a heartwarming Harvest Festival celebration.

Flute pupils from Years 3 to Upper Sixth took part in a special tea time concert, raising funds for Cameron’s Orphanage Project.

In September, a sprinkle of magic filled the air as pupils celebrated Roald Dahl Day in true Dahlian style.

Ignis House kicked off the school year with a heartwarming Charity Day. The event was held in support of the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.

This summer, Hurst Tennis Camps welcomed more than 150 children from 20 different schools across three action-packed weeks of tennis coaching, games, and match play
