The JPS community enjoyed an inspiring start to British Sign Language Week as the Sign Language After School Club took centre stage in assembly.

Hurst pupils began their day with warmth and celebration on Friday 13 March, as Reception to Year 2 mums gathered for a special Mother’s Day. 

The school community was treated to a heart warming Reception to Year 2 Ballet Showcase inspired by Mary Poppins.

Families and loved ones gathered for the much-anticipated Informal Music Concerts held across Years 3, 4, 5, and 6.

Our School Archivist enjoyed leading a Discovery Day session with our enthusiastic Year 1 pupils. 

The SPS held their annual Charity Disco in support of Cameron’s Orphanage.

Pupils from JPS took part in a Wellbeing Walk to mark Children’s Mental Health Week, running from 9–15 February. 

Pupils at the SPS have once again shown their dedication to supporting mental health causes, raising an impressive £269.25 through a hot chocolate charity sale.

A vibrant community fundraiser successfully raised over £800 in support of Chestnut Tree House.

Pupils from across the Prep School filled the Music Hall with energy and enthusiasm as they took to the stage for the annual Winter Concert.

Our pupils and staff embraced the Christmas spirit with a series of joyful events and activities that brought the whole community together.

The holiday season kicked off in style as pupils from Reception through to Year 4 took part in the St Catherine’s Hospice Reindeer Run on Monday 8 December 2025.
