In addition to the more traditional sports options, Hurst offers a range of other sporting options during timetabled games sessions. Examples of these are:

Outdoor Pursuits
We also offer outdoor sports as part of our Outdoor Pursuits programme.

Facilities
We offer top of the range sporting facilities on-site for many of the sports available to our students. These include three full-sized floodlit AstroTurf pitches, a full-sized sports hall, outdoor pitches, two fitness suites, a 25m indoor heated swimming pool and a climbing wall with top rope climbs and bouldering sections.
For more specialist sports we have the benefit of being close to excellent local facilities. These include:
- All England Jumping Course at Hickstead for Show-Jumping (8 minutes by minibus)
- Ardingly Activity Centre for water sports (25 minutes by minibus)
- Leisure centre with swimming pool, squash courts, badminton courts, fitness rooms and climbing walls (6 minutes by minibus)
- Indoor ski centre and outdoor dry ski slope (facilities within 45 minutes/1 hour by minibus)
