Year 6 pupils returned from an unforgettable residential trip to the Isle of Wight, packed with adventure, teamwork and lasting memories as they near the end of their time at JPS.
The trip offered a fantastic opportunity for pupils to step outside their comfort zones and take part in a wide range of exciting activities. From exhilarating zip lining and climbing challenges to sailing on the open water, pupils approached each experience with enthusiasm and determination. Throughout the week, they demonstrated impressive resilience, supporting one another and working together to overcome challenges.
Team-building tasks were a particular highlight, allowing pupils to strengthen their communication skills and build confidence while fostering a strong sense of camaraderie.
Beyond the daytime activities, the evenings provided equally memorable moments. A lively silent disco proved to be a firm favourite, offering plenty of laughter and fun, while shared mealtimes gave pupils the chance to relax, reflect on their day and deepen friendships.
