Year 3 pupils arrived at school dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl character on Roald Dahl Day. Their costumes were superb, showing true creativity.

Every year on his birthday, pupils throughout the world celebrate the magic that Roald Dahl brought and continues to bring to children everywhere. Our pupils enjoyed some Roald Dahl themed lessons, which included learning about how Dahl invented such brilliant characters. They also tried inventing a hero or villain character of their own, using stylistic devices such as exaggeration, alliteration and similes to enhance their descriptions. Finally, they illustrated their work to bring their characters to life.
