Nottingham came vividly to life on stage as Year 3 and 4 pupils performed their play, Looking Good, Robin Hood. The production showed a city under pressure, ruled by a Sheriff whose harsh laws made life extremely difficult for its citizens.
Throughout the play, the young performers portrayed a struggling Nottingham, where people were taxed heavily and left with very little. Characters spoke of how they felt almost as if they were being “taxed for breathing,” helping the audience understand just how unfair life had become.
Overall, Year 3 and 4 delivered a lively and engaging performance, bringing energy, emotion, and storytelling to their roles.
