Hurst’s A-level and GCSE Art & Photography students from 2019-20 are displaying their work as a virtual exhibition via an online digital book. Not only do the artists display their artwork, but they also share the inspirations behind their projects.
“ The standard of work this year was exceptional and in our online exhibition we have showcased both GCSE and A-level responses in order to share with you the pupil’s immense talents ” Richard Cuerden, Director of Art & Photography
Here is what some of the artists had to say:
“ Through my explorations I aim to create a sense of nostalgia through recognisable scenes of my own family adventures ” Becky H, A-level Art student
“ I wanted to create a very visually appealing collection of photographs. As a Vegan, I chose to photograph vegetables and fruit ” Izzy B, A-level Photography student
“ Each of the people I have drawn are special to me and what I wanted to capture was the sensitivity and vulnerability within each person ” Lola B, GCSE Art student
