Softball Cricket Festival
Last week, Hurst hosted its annual U15 Softball Cricket Festival for girls and welcomed teams from Sutton Valence, Burgess Hill Girls, Seaford College, Wellington College, Sevenoaks and Cranleigh.
With very few external events during the past year, this festival was exactly what was needed. The games were competitive, fast paced, but most importantly, enjoyable and fun. Just before the festival started, there was a heavy downpour, but the participants were not going to let that ruin the event.
“ The girls were fantastic, and they all played the game with a smile on their faces. All games were keenly contested and well done to Sutton Valence who were undefeated this year ” Matt Reynolds, Head of Girls’ Cricket
