The annual House Rugby competition took place near the end of November, coinciding with our 100 Years of Rugby at Hurst celebrations. Across two days of fixtures, two special centenary cups were contested and presented by former pupil, Chris Preen. Chris joined the School in Year 7, progressed through Crescent House and St John’s, and now plays for Worcester Warriors Rugby Club.
Senior matches, involving Fifth Form pupils and Lower and Upper Sixth students, were played on the first day, followed by Junior fixtures for Shell and Remove pupils on the second.
Crescent claimed the Junior title, with Star, Eagle, Chevron, Red Cross, and Woodard completing the standings. In the Senior competition, Star secured a hard-earned victory.
