Reception pupils enjoyed a special farm-to-table experience as they picked fresh beans and peas during a visit to the school farm. The children worked together to harvest the produce, learning about where their food comes from and how it is grown.
The freshly picked vegetables were then taken to the catering team and used to prepare a delicious lunch. Pupils were excited to taste the food they had helped to gather, making the meal even more meaningful and enjoyable.
The activity was a wonderful opportunity for hands-on learning, combining outdoor exploration with healthy eating and teamwork.
