Hurst pupils began their day with warmth and celebration on Friday 13 March, as Reception to Year 2 mums gathered for a special Mother’s Day. The event welcomed mothers and mother figures into school for a cheerful start to the morning and a delicious offering of pastries and fresh fruit.
Laughter and conversation filled the room as families enjoyed a rare moment of calm together before the school day began. The breakfast provided a lovely opportunity for pupils to show appreciation for the important women in their lives, while also helping to create lasting memories ahead of Mother’s Day. To finish, the pupils sang a heartfelt song to show just how much these special women mean to them.
