Junior Prep Prize Giving and Sports Day - Hurstpierpoint College

The Junior Prep School wrapped up the academic year with a day of celebration.

Mr Dominic Mott, Head of College, presented this year’s Prize Day awards, which applauded pupils who had gone above and beyond what was expected of them. More importantly, the morning was a celebration of progress and perseverance—each pupil was encouraged to look back with pride at how much they had grown.

A heartfelt commendation was paid to the Year 6 pupils, who have been wonderful role models this year with their admirable guidance.

Adding to the celebration, pupils from the production of Ocean Commotion put on a lively performance from their show and, to conclude the Prize Day, a group of pupils and staff surprised the audience with a choreographed flash mob performance of We’re All In This Together from High School Musical.

The Junior Prep Sports Day, involved every pupil from Reception to Year 6. Mini hurdles, obstacle courses, and space hopper relays kept the energy high and the audience cheering. The event was a display of enthusiasm and sportsmanship. To close the day, there were medal presentations for each year group.

From the flash mob to the personal milestones and podium finishes the day was a wonderful expression of what makes the Junior Prep School so special.
