JPS Wellbeing Walk - Hurstpierpoint College

Pupils from JPS took part in a Wellbeing Walk to mark Children’s Mental Health Week, running from 9–15 February.

As they made their way around the school grounds and to the Senior Netball Courts, children were encouraged to slow their pace and pay attention to their surroundings. They noticed simple details, such as the sound of leaves underfoot, birds calling from nearby trees, and the movement of the wind across the fields. These small moments supported the week’s focus on mindful movement and taking time to be present.

Children’s Mental Health Week aims to highlight the importance of supporting young people’s emotional wellbeing. This year’s theme emphasises connection, time outdoors, and mindful practices, all of which were incorporated into JPS’s Wellbeing Walk.
