JPS Fun Run for Hope House Haiti - Hurstpierpoint College

The annual JPS Fun Run, held in support of Hope House Haiti, proved to be a resounding success, raising over £1,300 through generous donations. Additionally, a remarkable £900 was contributed from Aqua’s charity day in March, bringing the total to over £2,200.

Hope House Haiti, a charity which the JPS have maintained close ties with for several years, benefits greatly from these contributions including by helping pay a teacher’s annual salary at a school in Haiti and supporting various ongoing projects.

We were grateful to welcome Yvrose Telfort, the founder of Hope House Haiti to Hurst. Ms Telfort addressed the pupils in Chapel, sharing heartfelt stories about the life-saving impact of their donations. She also took the time to speak individually with many pupils, further emphasising the importance of their support.
