Ignis House kicked off the school year with a heartwarming Charity Day. The event was held in support of the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, continuing the house’s tradition of giving back to the community.
The day was filled with generosity and creativity. Donations of toys and books poured in, creating a vibrant marketplace for students and staff. But it was the JPS children’s baking efforts that truly stole the show—hundreds of delicious homemade cakes were available at break time, delighting everyone who stopped by.
Adding to the fun, Ignis pupils hosted a variety of imaginative games and activities, while the raffle drew plenty of excitement with prizes such as “brownies for the whole class” and the coveted “wear your own clothes to school” pass.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and support of the entire house, the event raised over £800 for Rockinghorse, helping to make a meaningful difference for children in need.
