A team of 22 Prep School pupils from years 5 – 8 performed extremely well in the IAPS Swimming qualification gala against 10 other schools from the region, which was held at Windlesham House School.

Our swimmers took part in the individual and relay events, and although all team members put in a fantastic effort, there were particularly strong performances from the Year 7 boys relay team and Year 8 girls relay team, with both taking first place. In the individual events Grace S, Eloise A, Eryn C, Luca C-F, Morten D, Joe H and Jacob W also placed first.

The final qualifying gala takes place on the first Friday in March, and we hope that some of our swimmers will progress to the final of the competition in June at the London Aquatics Centre, when the fastest 12 relay teams and fastest 20 individuals from the regional qualifiers will take part.
