The much-anticipated HocNet Tournament brought together the 13A, 12A, and 3rd teams for an afternoon of competitive spirit and sporting excellence. This annual event, a cherished tradition, marks the close of the hockey season and the exciting start of the netball season. Unique in its format, the tournament combines points from both sports, creating a dynamic and high-energy atmosphere.
Eight teams battled it out in each competition, showcasing skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the day.
The 13A team faced a tough hockey pool and struggled to convert scoring chances. However, they bounced back spectacularly in netball, winning all their matches. Their combined efforts earned them an impressive 2nd place overall, narrowly missing the top spot by just one point.
The 3rd team, competing in the 12A competition, started strong with a clean sweep in their netball games and delivered solid hockey performances, finishing 4th overall. Meanwhile, the 12A team dominated their netball fixtures, winning every match, and worked tirelessly in hockey to claim the title of overall winners in their competition.
