In September, a sprinkle of magic filled the air as pupils celebrated Roald Dahl Day in true Dahlian style. A select group of lucky pupils were awarded Golden Tickets during Chapel, recognising their outstanding commitment to the Hurst Way—by Working Hard, Doing Good, and Engaging.
The celebration culminated in a special Roald Dahl-themed lunch, where the dining hall was transformed into a scene straight out of a storybook. The catering team delighted pupils by dressing up as beloved Roald Dahl characters, adding a playful and imaginative twist to the end of the week.
From Matilda to Willy Wonka, the spirit of storytelling and creativity was alive and well, making it a memorable occasion for all.
