Huge congratulations to every single one of our Hurst students as they have secured another superb set of grades at GCSE. A total of 79% of grades were awarded at 7 – 9, leading to lots of excited smiles and hugs as the pupils came in to celebrate with their friends as their parents and teachers proudly looked on. Some brave souls had chosen not to look at their results online before coming into school, so it was particularly rewarding to see the look of wonder and joy on their faces as they opened their envelopes and realised how well they had done.

Hurst’s Head of College, Mr Dominic Mott, was full of praise for the students’ achievements. “This talented group has worked hard and taken full advantage of the extra clinics and revision sessions on offer; these pupils fully deserve their excellent results. They can now excitedly look ahead to starting their Sixth Form journeys knowing that they have done themselves justice. We are thrilled for them, and I can’t wait to see them continue to develop as they embark on their A-level courses.”
