Hurst’s equestrian team had another good day in the NSEA qualifying events, this time at Felbridge.
In the Grass Roots Show Jumping, the 60cm team took first place to qualify for the National Championships at Hickstead in August. Congratulations to Henry C, Lars D, Lyla Y J and Theo T. Henry and Theo competed in the individual event, taking second and sixth places respectively, to also qualify.
The same team competed in the 70cm event and gained a second qualification by finishing in second place. Henry C competed in the 60cm Derby, taking first place for another National Champs qualification.
Moving onto the Eventers Challenge, our 80cm team took third place to qualify for the championships at Hickstead in May. Congratulations to Harriet B, Tilda S, Biba B and Harriet N. Harriet N competed in the individual event, finishing in sixth place and also qualified. Olivia S took part in the 90cm event, securing third place for another qualification.
The two Hurst teams in the Windsor qualifier, finished in third and fifth place respectively, but missed out on qualification. Olivia S took part in the 1m show jumping class and took third place.
