End of Term Festive Fun - Hurstpierpoint College

As the autumn term draws to a close, Prep has been brimming with festive cheer and excitement. Our pupils and staff embraced the Christmas spirit with a series of joyful events and activities that brought the whole community together.

The celebrations kicked off with the lively Christmas Congo, filling the Chapel with music and laughter. Pupils then enjoyed a delicious Christmas Lunch, complete with all the traditional trimmings—a highlight for many.

Inter-house camaraderie was in full swing during the Virtual Inter-House Christmas Quiz, where teams battled it out in a fun-filled test of festive knowledge. The competitive spirit continued throughout the week, strengthening friendships and house pride.

A magical moment for our youngest pupils came with Santa’s special visit to Reception, spreading smiles and seasonal sparkle. The whole school also joined in the tradition of Christmas Jumper Day, showcasing an array of colourful and creative designs while supporting a great cause—Cameron’s Orphanage.

Finally, the term concluded on a high note with our beautiful Carol Service, a time for reflection and celebration, reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas.
