The Year 7 Hurst Dramatics Present: A Midsummer Night’s Dream “The course of true love never did run smooth…”

Four lovers lost in the woods at midnight, a quarrel between the King and Queen of the fairies, a magical love potion gone terribly wrong, and a hapless actor with a very unfortunate set of ears… What could possibly go right?

Join us for a spellbinding and hilarious journey through the Forest of Hurstpierpoint, where nothing is quite as it seems. With a soundtrack that swings from Bowie’s Heroes to Foreigner’s Cold as Ice, and a touch of midsummer magic, this is Shakespeare as you’ve never seen it before.

But the true magic lies behind the scenes — this production has been lovingly mentored by our talented Remove and Lower Sixth Drama Mentors, who have choreographed, directed, and inspired our brilliant Year 7s every step of the way.

So come along and be swept into a realm of fairies, fun, and festive mischief. Expect laughter, music, dancing, and more than a little merriment in this joyous celebration of community, creativity, and classic comedy.
