Almost 80 Year 8 pupils took part in the musical production of Beauty and the Beast, which was live-streamed across the globe – a first for a Prep School production at Hurst.
Due to the virus situation, our pupils were not able to perform to a live audience in the normal way, but instead – and rather excitingly – their performance was beamed across the globe through a live stream. They were very excited to hear that people were able to watch their performance from places such as Los Angeles, Germany and Switzerland.
The pupils worked incredibly hard to put the show together, demonstrating great resilience in an ever-changing situation. The final performance was truly stunning and a real testament to their diligence, as they created magic on stage by bringing the characters, village and castle to life.
