Year 7 pupils enjoyed a lively and imaginative performance as the acclaimed theatre company Out of Chaos brought their high energy reimagining of A Midsummer Night’s Dream to the school. Performed by Hannah Barrie and Paul O’Mahony, the fast paced production transformed Shakespeare’s comedy into a whirlwind of romantic mix ups, competitive scene stealing and fairy filled mischief, with confused couples chasing the wrong partners, performers battling for the spotlight and combative fairies fighting for magical supremacy. Following the international success of their two actor Macbeth, the duo once again delivered their signature blend of inventive storytelling, rapid character switching and musical flair, bringing Shakespeare’s classic to life with humour, energy and remarkable creativity.
