In preparation for the upcoming production of Sweeney Todd, the cast took part in a traditional wet shave workshop to support their character work. Led by a skilled barber, the boys learned how to hold a cutthroat razor safely, and the correct order in which each stage of a wet shave should be carried out.
The session offered useful practical insight into one of the show’s most recognisable elements, helping the cast understand the precise movements needed to mimic shaving convincingly on stage. It also allowed them to spend time together outside rehearsals, which helped them create a real bond and built further excitement for February’s performances.
