Shell Belonging Afternoon
A month into life at the Senior School, our Shell pupils (Year 9) enjoyed an afternoon of Belonging activities to strengthen friendships within their Houses and across the year group.
Each House planned its own afternoon, with some activities bringing pupils from different Houses together. There was football and zorb football on the sports pitches, alongside baking, arts and crafts, and a PJ pamper party. Other groups went on a mindful walk, gathered for pizza, or visited the Hurst Farm to feed the pigs.
Belonging is at the heart of the Hurst Way. These shared experiences gave pupils time together beyond the classroom, offering opportunities to build friendships and feel more at home at Hurst.
