Ventus Charity Day at the end of November was a roaring success, with students working tirelessly to organise fun activities and raise funds for a worthy cause. Among the highlights were a “Guess the Smell” game and a popular soft toy tombola, which kept everyone entertained during morning break. The event also featured a tempting selection of homemade cakes, and the younger children in Reception to Year 2 took great care in selecting their 50p toy purchases.
Money was raised for The Sussex Snowdrop Trust, a local charity that supports terminally ill children and their families, providing care in the comfort of their own homes. By the end of the event, the fundraising total had reached over £1400, with more contributions expected to come in.
