Cranleigh U11B Tournament
The U11B team shone at the Cranleigh Tournament, where they dominated the competition and remained undefeated throughout. They began the day with an impressive 2-0 victory over St George’s, showcasing a blend of determination and skill that set the tone for the rest of their matches. With confidence soaring, the girls continued to work seamlessly together, demonstrating fluid passing and tireless support for each other. Even as fatigue set in, they stayed resilient in their final match against Cranleigh, pulling off a 1-0 win to close out the day. Special recognition goes to Winter H, who scored all the team’s goals, making her a standout in this well-deserved tournament victory.
Ardingly U10A Tournament
At Ardingly, the U10A team also had a fantastic day. Finishing second in their pool, they advanced to an intense semi-final against Ardingly, eventually winning on shuffles to earn their place in the final. In the final match against Brambletye, the girls maintained their focus and secured a 1-0 win, marking a superb performance and a well-deserved tournament victory.
U11B Tournament
Another fantastic showing from the U11B team saw them finish at the top of their pool, clinching their place in the finals by the slimmest of goal differences. The girls then met Cumnor in the final and played their hearts out, working together to secure a 2-0 win. Their teamwork and determination ensured them a well-earned championship.
U12B/4th Team Tournament at Hurst
Competing at home, the U12B/4th team (Year 7 and 8) tournament, they demonstrated clinical finishing in the D, capitalising on every opportunity. Undefeated in all their games, the girls advanced to the final against St. Andrews, where they put in a strong performance to claim victory and the tournament title. Their consistent teamwork and resilience were on full display, making it a day to remember.
