Hurst Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness - Hurstpierpoint College

In recognition of Wear It Pink Day, Hurst students and staff embraced a sea of pink on Friday, 18th October, supporting vital breast cancer awareness efforts. Led by Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Wear It Pink Day has been running for over 20 years, funding essential research and life-changing support for those affected by breast cancer.

This year, Miss Ratford focused on two amazing charities Breast Cancer Now and Coppafeel to raise awareness and funds which go towards life-saving research and comprehensive support services, making a significant impact on countless lives. Coppafeel, with its focus on young people, provides resources to educate on the importance of early self-checks and aims to foster open conversations about breast health.

The enthusiasm of Hurst’s community shone through as they joined millions across the UK in supporting Wear It Pink Day, demonstrating their commitment to advancing breast cancer awareness and encouraging proactive health checks for all.
