The Junior Prep School PSHCE morning was an exciting start to the day for the pupils with an activity-filled timetable across all year groups.
Students from Reception to Year 2 engaged in eco-focused activities throughout the morning, while all year groups up to Year 6 had the opportunity to contribute to planting the Living Wall, which is now thriving along the sides of the prep school netball court. Thanks to the good weather, the Chaplain led an outdoor service to bless and give thanks for the Living Wall.
Year 3 and Year 5 spent the morning exploring the environmental impact of food waste, learning how to reduce waste and improve food production efficiency. Year 4 began their unit on Digital Wellbeing, which will continue throughout the year. Meanwhile, Year 6 focused on healthy eating and the importance of maintaining a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
It was a productive and engaging morning, with students actively participating in environmental, health, and digital wellbeing initiatives that will continue to shape their learning throughout the year.
