Boulder Brighton Inter Schools Competition 2025 - Hurstpierpoint College

Six talented young climbers from Hurst showcased their skills in the Boulder Brighton Inter Schools Competition 2025, making it to the final round after an intense qualifying stage. The competition saw over 300 competitors from schools across the South East, from as far as Tunbridge Wells and Southampton, battling it out on six challenging boulder problems.

Hurst’s senior team delivered an impressive performance, securing second place overall, just behind BHASVIC. Meanwhile, the junior team finished in a respectable sixth place among a strong field of competitors. The event featured some of the region’s top climbing schools, with BHASVIC, Brighton College, Lancing College, Christ’s Hospital, and Whitgift also competing.

The competition, which brought together the top nine schools after qualifiers, provided an exciting and highly competitive atmosphere. Although there were no individual results, the team performances highlighted the strength and determination of the climbers. With tough routes and a high level of competition, this year’s event proved to be a thrilling showcase of young bouldering talent.
