Year 4 students had an unforgettable experience during their trip to Wings Aviation Museum. The action-packed afternoon offered a hands-on approach into history and aviation.
Highlights of the visit included handling rifles, sitting in the cockpit of a fighter plane, and re-enacting a dramatic wartime plane evacuation. The children were captivated by stories of key historical figures, brought to life by the museum’s knowledgeable staff. Their enthusiasm was evident as they peppered the staff with insightful questions throughout the afternoon.
The children also had the opportunity to independently explore the museum’s extensive exhibits and artefacts on display which they all thoroughly enjoyed and returned to school inspired.
