The JPS Dance Showcase transported audiences to a world of wonder in the New Bury Theatre. This year’s enchanting production, Wonderland, followed Alice as she tumbled down the rabbit hole, on a magical adventure whilst meeting curious new friends.
The show was a culmination of the hard work of the children from Reception, Years 1 and 2. Through imaginative movement, street dance, and ballet—brought to life with vibrant costumes—each young performer fully embraced their character, making Wonderland a truly spellbinding experience.
Adding to the spectacle were special guest performers, including Charlotte O, Year 3, as Alice’s big sister, who provided narration throughout the show. Elevate Dance Co. (Years 5 and 6) brought a myriad of colour, magic, and energy with their incredible performance, while Propulsion Boys delivered a lively and playful scene around the Mad Hatter’s tea table.
