Golf

There has been a successful resurgence in golf at Hurst over the past couple of years. Golf is offered as an activity as well  as a team event for both boys and girls. We compete in fixtures against local schools and enter National Competitions such as the HMC foursomes.  Some competitions are played in the Autumn term, including the West Sussex Schools' Invitational which attracts 18 top schools from the South of England. However, most of our games are played in the summer to include triangular tournaments against Epsom and Eastbourne College and the 'South Downs Classic' a competition between Hurst, Ardingly College and Lancing College. There are also annual 'in house' events:- a House competition,  matches against the OJ Club and a light-hearted  match between the pupils and staff.
