Baran Ceylan, Hurst Lower Sixth former and Managing Director of 'Zaken' paid tribute to his team. "It was tough at times, we pack a great deal into our lives at Hurst and we are all taking very important exams so our time management, commitment and organisational skills as well as business sense and ingenuity were all put to the test. But ultimately, it was great fun, and sometimes just a little bit hairy, working with such a talented business team. I think we had tough competition this year and I'm very, very proud that we all pulled together so well and achieved such a great result"

Hurst Headmaster, Tim Manly, who with Hurst's Young Enterprise Co-ordinator Jan Leeper, accompanied the 'Zaken' team as they entered the final stage of this competition, has nothing but praise for the Young Enterprise Scheme. "It delivers" he said "really practical, hands-on, business experience that will stand our students in good stead whatever their career path.
