Dear Parents
Good morning to you all.
There is still snow on the ground but the roads around the College are clear.
The buses are currently all running. Dennis Levy, transport manager, will be in direct contact with you if there is a problem with any of them. We are gritting the Campus car parks as there is still some slush/snow on them- please take care when dropping off your children.
I hope that conditions, wherever you are, are not too troublesome and that we will see your children at school today. However, I am aware that some parents are facing more problems than us here at Hurst.
Good Luck!
As ever

Dear Parents There is currently a thin [an inch or so] layer of snow across the Campus. The temperature seems to be just above zero and there is a slow thaw. The roads are clear and the forecast seems benign.
Whatever happens overnight, the three schools will be open tomorrow. However, if there is an unexpected heavy frost or another dump of snow which could make travelling conditions to the College very difficult in the morning, we will be in contact via email and also through the website ticker as last year.
I will publish a regular bulletin on the website starting at 6.30 am this coming Monday morning. In it, I will inform parents about the state of play on the roads around the college, which buses are running and the measures in place to ensure that the school runs smoothly. At this stage, I am cautiously optimistic that all will be well but....
