"I am very pleased that Hurst’s GCSE results this year are very much in line with last year’s results which were themselves an all-time record for the College” said Hurstpierpoint College’s Headmaster, Tim Manly. “Nevertheless, we are not, for a number of important reasons, releasing our detailed results for the Summer League Tables.”
“We are particularly delighted with the performance of nearly 50% of our candidates who have achieved 7 or more A and A* grades. That said, I’m equally proud of those of our students who are not natural A* candidates; their excellent results this year will serve as an formidable launch pad for their Sixth Form studies and University careers. Although it is not discernable from League Table figures, this strong underpinning of added value in important public examinations is one of the core benefits that outstanding schools like Hurst are able to provide.
“I have to pay tribute to our students and staff; results like these cannot be achieved without a great deal of hard work and complete commitment from everyone involved.”
