Dear Parents

The term is forging ahead on all fronts. In sport, we have never been so successful. In hockey and netball, our U16 and U14 teams seem to be all conquering, and our 1st XI have just won the U18 Sussex Cup. Meanwhile, the rehearsals for Godspell continue apace and I spent a delightful evening listening to our music scholars last week. We have tremendous talent at Hurst. It has also been good to see the emergence of Hurst's Classics Society and other intellectual initiatives across the College. These have great value in enthusing and inspiring our pupils. In all, a very packed and rewarding four weeks - in spite of the weather, dark evenings and seasonal illness.

Yours sincerely
Headmaster
Tim Manly
