Mathematics is a popular subject at Hurst, with around half of our students taking Mathematics further than GCSE level.

We have eleven teachers in the Maths department, who are all passionate about the subject and supportive towards all the pupils.

All pupils take Mathematics at GCSE and our most able students also take a Level 2 qualification in Further Maths. At A-level, we also offer Mathematics and Further Maths.

We offer support for our most able students to study Additional Further Maths modules. In 2014 one of our students achieved three A*s in Maths at A2 level.

    Mathematics beyond Hurst
