    Jewellery Workshop Classes for Adults

    Michaelmas Term 2018

    Hurst College’s Design and Technology department will be offering adults the opportunity to take part in a number of one-day Jewellery Making workshops this coming term. These are aimed at beginners and there are a variety of projects on offer: Silver stacking rings; Enamelling; Textured silver pendant; Stone setting; Silver bangles. Participants will explore a range of metalworking techniques to enable them to develop an understanding of the tools and processes involved in making jewellery in metal. There will be the opportunity for participants to work on their own ideas and at the end of each workshop participants will have produced at least one wearable item of jewellery in silver.

    Hurst Stage - Summer vacation 

    Monday 20 to Friday 24 August 2018

    The Hurst Stage is organised by performing arts teachers at Hurstpierpoint College. Children will spend the mornings in training sessions and the afternoons in specialised sessions, many run by West End professionals. The week culminates in a final show in Hurst's Bury Theatre to which parents and friends are invited.

    Open to children aged 9 to 18, 9.00 am - 5.30 pm
