    Assistant Librarian (full time, 34 weeks per annum)

    Starting in the Michelmas/Autumn term, this is a varied role and requires a wide range of skills and knowledge. As well as traditional library tasks, it involves supervising an EPQ group, getting involved with club activities and running an independent research project with the Year 9s. Previous experience of working in a Library is essential, plus a working knowledge of IT and the ability to communicate effectively with young people and help them find resources and use information skills.

    Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week (34 weeks p.a.), Monday to Friday, with the requirement to cover two evenings a week until 7.00 pm, although a degree of flexibility may be possible. The salary will be £18-£20k (actual) dependent on qualifications and experience.

    Swimming Teacher

    Required for September 2018 - term time only

    We are looking to recruit a Swimming Teacher to teach across the College, from Reception through to Year 13. Applicants should have particular experience of teaching the younger year groups and be prepared to teach in the water as well as from poolside. ASA Level 1 is essential (we are happy to sponsor Level 2 training going forward) and applicants must also hold a current lifesaving qualification (or be prepared to undertake lifeguarding training here at the College in September). Some administration of and attendance at galas is also required, which may include occasional late evenings. 25 hours per week, exact hours to be agreed but to include Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.     Art Technician - part time and term time (Mondays & Wednesdays + 3 hours running Art clubs for Yr3-8)  

    We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to work under the direction and guidance of the Heads of Art (Senior & Prep Schools) to take responsibility for providing technical, administrative and housekeeping support for the Prep School Art department. The hours of work will be Mondays and Wednesdays together with 3 hours running art clubs for years 3-8.

    Experience in the use of a broad selection of Art media and in working with ceramics, textiles, sculpture is necessary. If you have any photography/photoshop/animation skills this would be welcomed.  Experience of leading workshops for young children would be a distinct advantage as there is opportunity to run after school clubs in the Prep school.

    Use of Microsoft Office and IT skills required. In addition, knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and sensitivity to hazards associated with the use of certain types of equipment and materials is necessary. 

    The starting salary will be dependent upon qualifications, skills, knowledge and previous experience.

    We require drivers for regular morning (6.15 am to 8.15 am) and/or evening (6.00 pm to 8.00 pm) school minibus runs, Monday to Friday term-time only (33 weeks p.a). D or D1 driver’s licence required.  Salary: £9.34 per hour (£10.47 including holiday pay).  Some weekend work may be available at enhanced rates.
