Cricket (Girls)

Girls cricket is a major sport at Hurst with in excess of 200 girls across the College involved in the game. Fixtures start in January with the Lady Taverners indoor tournament followed by various matches and tournaments in the summer term for all age groups. Over the last few years, girls' cricket in Sussex schools, both independent and state maintained, has grown in popularity resulting in many more fixtures available for our girls. Matches are played mid-week and Saturdays. Girls also play in the boys squads with Za Za Menzies and Jess Young included in the boys 2nd XI in 2018.
