Hurst's creative programme enables the children to express themselves in different ways. As their creative skills are nurtured, they develop personal confidence, important social skills and strengthen their powers of memory and concentration.
The creative and performing arts are important to every child’s development and they form a core element in our Pre-Prep education.
Pupils are encouraged to develop their creative skills through Art, Drama, Dance and Music, which are all incorporated into the weekly curriculum. In addition, ballet, drama, art and individual music lessons are also available as after school activities.
All of our children enjoy the opportunities to sing, act, dance and perform to parents at events such as the Nativity and the Dance Showcase.
Our outstanding resources are supplemented by sessions with visiting authors, musicians, artists and dance companies.
