Hurst Pre-Prep is a caring, happy and supportive community which aims to inspire a joy of learning in all pupils. It is a special place where children grow and develop in the safe, caring, happy environment we provide.

Our pupils are also taught to appreciate and value the local and global community and to understand the importance of helping others, with this in mind there are a number of charity fund-raising initiatives.

    Recent beneficiaries have included:

    Jeans for Genes

Jeans for Genes Day takes place annually in September and raises money for initiatives to improve the lives of children and families affected by genetic disorders.

One in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder - that's 30,000 babies and children diagnosed in the UK each year. | Home

    Chestnut Tree House Hospice

Chestnut Tree House is the only children's hospice in Sussex and cares for more than 300 children and young adults with progressive life-shortening conditions. Their care services also extend to the whole family.

Our pupils had a collection for the hospice after their nativity play. | Home

BBC Children in Need & Red Nose Day
